5.They are fussy about trivial matters.They say Tv is boring,radio stations play bad music and our comedy is wanting.Some just watch news on Aljazeera or read huge volumes of books alone in their study rooms.
6.They take risks in seeking employment and new business ventures.
7.When you ask to meet them they say:”let me check my schedule and see if we can meet”.They are ever busy.Poor and unsuccessful people don’t say such things.
8.I wish they could drop these habit.A good number don’t pick calls.Then you wonder why they have those phones.
9.They smell nice.Men wear expensive cologne and women wear perfumes that romance your poverty.
10.They rarely spend to please others.Should they be extravagant,it’s for their own good.
11.Some are not on social media.Others seek the services of Experts to run their account.
12.They rarely show off what they have.They keep it simple to the shock of many after learning their net worth.
13.Majority are on post paid and their monthly airtime can feed hustlers for a couple of weeks.
14.They play golf with their fellow rich.They watch football occasionally,but enjoy rugby matches,cricket and basket ball.
15.They marry late and have few kids whom they love more than their life.They have an education plan,medical and even an entertainment kitty for their children.
16.They eat meals that are not delicious like:boiled Githeri,steamed cabbages,salad,porridge,
tea without milk(strungi),sugarless tea,avoid wheat products and all things sugary.They call it healthy eating-Many of us don’t know what that is.
17.They host house parties or get invited to house parties.When will some of us get invites?
18.They say things like “I am going to the office” Unlike hustlers who say “Naenda works/kazi”.True to the hustlers words they work with merger earnings.
19.They have zero worship for politicians and D-list celebrities,whom we imagine are A-list.They wouldn’t lift their eyes from their newspapers in case they passed by.
20.They have pride in their accomplishment and what they posses.In case a matatu or a fellow private car owner rams into their car,they will be like “How dare you hit MY CAR?”, “I can’t get spare parts” .We,the Holloipolloi and hopeless of this country will wonder how that is possible yet we have many shops selling car spare parts.
